Meditation:  The Center Amidst Change

Change is inevitable.  Sometimes circumstances are more favorable and at other times immensely challenging.  While we can influence certain conditions, we cannot control them.  Instead, we can turn our awareness within and through wisdom shift our perception.  A regular practice of meditation and yoga provides us with experience and knowledge to learn to live in our authentic center.

About the teacher:  Susan George has studied meditation for over 30 years.  During this time she lived and practiced extensively in a traditional school of yoga and meditation in both India and the U.S.  Susan lives in Brentwood and is a practitioner of Ayurveda--a holistic system of healing from India.

What to bring:  It is important to be comfortable.  Sitting blankets, some cushions and floor chairs are provided.  Please bring a sweater or a shawl. You are welcome to sit on the floor or in a chair.
